Found this 20 questions on Iron Legions Blog but via Don’t throw a 1’s blog. Thought it would be good for a laugh.

note I have adapted it a little (I hope the original author doesn’t mind as I don’t do historical wargaming much)

I’m a big 40k fan at heart but also love the Battletech back story too.

I just read the review of Space Marine for PC over at PC gamer and noticed the following in the comments section:

“I feel the same way, the whole of the demo seems to have that "rinse and repeat" element about it. Deffo not on my purchace list. I had really high hopes for this game having played 40K since Rogue Trader days but it's just meele spam at the end of the day :(“

 

Melee spam? If you ask me that would fit in with later versions of 40k perfectly!

Nick and Pauls House part II

Paul kindly sent me a couple of pictures of the Wii mentioned in this post:

I've been staying with a couple of friends in London who do the same course as myself at Uni (BA Games Studies). I think the layout of the front room says a lot about this console generation.

The focal point of the room is a 32" Toshiba HD TV on a wooden stand. In the stand is a PS3 on the left and an Xbox 360 right. There are games scattered everywhere.
There is also a Nintendo Wii in the room but that isn't on the stand. It's round the back being used as a leg to hold the stand up properly.

So there you go, a little anecdote about what gamers think about the usefulness of a Wii

Sort it out Nintendo, real gamers hold you in contempt!
