Ubisoft today announced that a new game in the Ghost Recon franchise is on the way. Named Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, The ever popular squad based tactical shooter should be hitting consoles this winter (just in time for Christmas, yipee!) and is also expected to be seen on PC too.
As well as the announcement of the estimated release date, Ubisoft have also stated that an exclusive multi-player beta test will be available to players who purchase Splinter Cell Conviction on Xbox 360 later this year.
I'm looking forward to this game as I've always liked the Ghost Recon series but how the game will compete with the ever dominant CoD Modern Warfare 2 and the launch of Halo Reach remains to be seen.
